It's a Hatty New Year

The cold has hit Wisconsin and the requests for Ski hats has flooded in from the kids (their friends are asking for them now also).

One Fusili Scarf knit in Manos Silk Blend for a friend. I'll admit I loved the colors of this scarf and had a hard time giving it up. (Look how pretty it looked on my tree, it could have been a pretty garland on the tree)

All four hats were knit in Berroco Pure Merino. I love this yarn. It's a joy to knit with, wear and take care of.

Happy New Year!

Hi there, it's good to SEE you:-) Happy New Year to you all. Love the scarf, you look great in it, but yes it looks pretty on your tree too.
I like the hats, wish I could knit them for the men in my family, but not sure they'd wear them over in England?

With the current weather, the requests may turn to all wearable goods.

Winston must be ready for a sweater from his Mommie!

Happy New Year!

Hi Kim, Nice hats, you have been knitting up a storm.
I wanted to mention too that your link to aseemlylife doesn't work. Not sure why but it probably has something to do with my iweb. Could you try to grab the link on my site and see if that works any better. You should like to TetheredThreads2.blogspot.com too since you are part of that. That way you will know when someone posts and updates.
Hope you have a great new year.
take care
Marty

Happy New Year my friend!
Love the scarf and the hats are great. I can't imagine how cold it is there. We are freezing our butts off here. But my feet are warm :)

That's an impressive set of hats! The scarf really would work well as a garland... one day you could have an entirely knit tree.
